Careers Education Scheme for Years 10 and 11

It is part of the vision and mission of Maidstone and Malling Alternative Provision that all learners receive careers education, information, advice and guidance that will enable them to choose 14-19 pathways that are right for them and, to be able to manage their careers, sustain employability and achieve personal and economic wellbeing throughout their lives. The careers programme works to raise student aspirations and help strengthen their adaptability and resilience to support their learning and embed qualities and values that are attributed to career success and well-being.

As students move through the school they will participate in;

  • A substantial programme of careers lessons
  • Access to individual careers guidance interviews
  • Career-focused events.

MMAP has a Careers leader, Miss Lisa Manners. She can be contacted through email or by telephone on 01622 753772. Students can drop in with any careers questions during lunch break and career lessons.
